    Terms of Use - Lexy and XCare Con on Carekonnect.net

    Effective: September 5, 2025

    These Terms govern your use of the symptom checker triage engine as well as telemedicine services offered on carekonnect.net. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

    Service Scope

    • Lexy provides preliminary guidance based on your inputs. It is NOT a diagnosis or a substitute for in‑person examination.
    • XCare Con connects you with licensed clinicians for virtual care within Nigeria. Telemedicine has limitations. Emergencies are excluded.

    Eligibility & Conduct

    Account Responsibility

    You confirm you are 18+ (or have a parent/guardian if applicable) and located where the service is permitted.
    You agree to provide accurate information, not misuse the services, and follow clinician instructions where applicable.

    Fair-Use & Access Limits

    • Free Lexy use is capped at “3 uses per 30 days” per user/tenant. After 2 uses, phone verification may be required. Emergency outcomes are never blocked.
    • A completed paid Telemedicine service may unlock additional uses during the window.

    Fees, Payments & Refunds

    • Prices are shown before booking. Payments are processed by approved providers.
    • Refunds are handled per our Refunds & Disputes Policy (request within a reasonable time if care was not delivered).

    Discounts (Percentage Tokens)

    • Tokens apply to one consult, expire in 7 days unless stated, cannot be combined (“one promotion at a time”), may be limited per user/device, do not apply to emergencies.
    • Abuse, fraud, or resale voids tokens.

    Telemedicine Consent

    Telemedicine has risks: potential technology failures, lack of physical exam, variable connectivity. You consent to proceed after reviewing our Telemedicine Consent.

    Referrals & Letters

    Where appropriate, clinicians may issue referral letters for in‑person review. We do not book third‑party facilities on your behalf.

    Messaging & Notifications

    With your consent, we may contact you on WhatsApp/SMS/Email for follow‑ups (e.g., “Are you feeling better?”, reminders, Customer Surveys). You can opt out at any time via provided controls.

    Privacy

    We process personal and health data per our Privacy Policy (NDPA‑aligned). See and contact https://carekonnectdev.blob.core.windows.net for rights requests.

    Intellectual Property

    All content, trademarks and software are owned by LEXMEDICAL/CAREKONNECT or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the services.

    Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

    Services are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LEXMEDICAL/CAREKONNECT is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

    Governing Terms & Disputes

    The laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria governs. Disputes will be resolved via negotiation and, failing that, arbitration/competent courts in Nigeria.
